EU Blackjack Betsoft

While Betsoft has become one of the leaders in the video slots market, their take on European Blackjack game is not exactly high end, at least when the visual appeal is concerned. Played with six decks of cards, European Blackjack Betsoft follows the regular Las Vegas Strip rules, albeit with some exceptions that will be explained below.

The multi-hand game offers casino players a chance to play up to three hands at once, and this is something that more seasoned blackjack enthusiasts will certainly appreciate, with the ability to select from three gameplay speeds another perk that is likely to come in handy.

Rules

The most important rules are similar to those followed by most similar blackjack variants, and these include 3:2 and 2:1 payouts on Blackjack and Insurance respectively, as well as the fact that dealer must draw to 16 and stand on all 17s. The decks are shuffled after each hand and there is no late surrender option.

European Blackjack Betsoft only allows one split per hand, but you will be glad to hear that double down is available after splitting. When it comes to doubling down, it can only be peformed on hands with 9, 10 and 11 values, while it is also important to note that double and split wagers are not returned on insurance bet wins.

Interface & Limits

While the Betsoft user interface is equipped with several useful features such as game speed and fullscreen option, we are not impressed by the overall execution, with game buttons especially looking unappealing The good news is that the gameplay runs without any issues, whereas players are allowed to stake anywhere from $1 to $100 per single hand. Game sounds can be easily enabled or disabled, whereas pressing Help opens a mini window containing Game Rules, Payouts and Tips and Controls tabs.
