European Blackjack Amaya

Running on NYX Gaming software, European Blackjack by Amaya is definitely not your average European blackjack game as it succeeds in standing out of the crowd in online gaming establishments. And while the eight decks of cards in use increase the house edge, the Early Surrender option is in place to balance things out and give players a realistic chance of winning.

Allowing three hands per round, the Amaya blackjack offers numerous betting opportunities, whereas easy on the eye table layout and clean yet attractive graphics are in place to enhance the overall gaming experience.

Unfortunately, Amaya games no longer available in free mode so you can enjoy Play’n Go game instead. USA players please check RTG or Betsoft versions of European blackjack.

Rules

As we have already mentioned, the game is played with eight decks of cards that are shuffled after each round, which is definitely not the perfect scenario when it comes to your chances of beating the house. The good news is that you have the option to use Early Surrender and get half of your stake back after seeing your two cards and before the dealer has checked for blackjack.

The dealer is required to draw to 16 and stand on soft 17, with double down available on 9, 10 and 11 hand values as well as after splitting. No resplits are allowed, whereas split aces receive one card each. The European Blackjack Amaya also follows a No Peek rule, which means that player loses entire bet on dealer blackjack, including doubles and splits.

User Interface & Limits

The high-quality user interface comes equipped with numerous helpful options such as Ambient Sound, Fit to Window and Full Animations, and it is quite easy to get around. Another thing many casino gamers are likely to enjoy is the choice between three table limits as you get to choose between $1-$100, $5-$250 and $15-$500, which is something you won’t find in many similar games.
